The firm of F. Page & Co. is listed in the 1865 coal commission report but not in the 1868 Slater's trade directory
Arthur Robottom in his memoirs, "Travel's in Search of New Trade Products" states "I then started the Padeswood Oil Company, and also commenced building some new patent retorts under the firm of Page & Co."
