OFFICIAL LIST OF AWARDS


A supplement to the London Gazette, published yesterday, contains the jury awards (subject to revision) made in the Inventions Division of the International Exhibition at South Kensington. The following exhibitors have been granted gold medals:
Young’s Paraffin Light and Mineral Oil Company (Limited), improvements in the manufacture of products from shale, and in lamps for burning mineral oil:


Young, William, and G. Beilby, improvements in the distillation of shale and coal.
