Labourer - Cooperage

A labourer performed unskilled work of a general nature in the cooperage at the oil refinery. The type of work a labourer would do would include painting and stencilling of the barrels with the name of the company, contents and destination, filling the barrels and rolling the barrels out and loading the filled barrels onto a wagon for despatch.
